Many times in life, one of the hardest things to do is to just carry on. Sometimes giving up is easier than going on.
Our modern society has gotten to the point of being impatient and not wanting to wait on anything. We live in a panic stricken world that wants everything now, and if it doesnât happen now, they will act like a spoiled child.
The confidence and faith by which we used to live our lives is hemorrhaging out of us. Often we are tentatively living for God.
Faith and fear will fight over control of our spirit. Living in fear is not what God has dictated for our life.
The 27th Psalm is a dichotomy. The first part is a confidence in God and the latter part is of the overwhelming fears that the writer was experiencing. The Psalm concludes with the writer encouraging us to âwait upon the Lordâ Wait here means to stay. When you feel overwhelmed and feel like giving up, STAY and the Lord will answer.
